Adam Thomas Defends Elma Pazar Amid Backlash Over Scott Thomas’ Love Island Exit

Must read

Adam Thomas, twin brother of former Love Island star Scott Thomas, has stepped in to defend Elma Pazar after she faced criticism following Scott’s sudden departure from the All-Stars villa.

During an emotional episode on Sunday, Scott, 36, announced his decision to leave the villa, citing doubts about his relationship with fellow contestant Tina Stinnes, 29. Despite forming a connection, Scott admitted, “It wasn’t fireworks,”and told Tina he didn’t see their relationship progressing. After a heart-to-heart with Tina and growing tension with co-star Elma, Scott ultimately chose to exit the show.

Elma, 32, became a focal point of the drama after confronting Scott about his lack of commitment in the villa. She suggested that if he wasn’t happy, he should leave, which many viewers interpreted as a push for his departure. This led to criticism from some fans, prompting Adam, 36, to take to Instagram and call for kindness toward Elma.

In his post, Adam wrote, “Before everyone starts coming for Elma, just be kind people. I’ve been on the other end having to read comments about my brother, and it’s safe to say it’s not nice! This is just a reality show. Tensions and emotions are running high. No one deserves to be judged over a 45-minute episode!”

He continued, “It’s just entertainment to you guys, but this isn’t a soap. It’s real people, and they have feelings, and so do their families.”

Scott and Tina’s Fizzled Romance
Before leaving, Scott told Tina that he couldn’t give her what she deserved. “I don’t fully feel it,” he said, acknowledging that their connection wasn’t strong enough to continue. Tina later confided in friends, including Elma, that her romance with Scott was over.

Elma, frustrated by Scott’s lack of progress with both Tina and another contestant, India Reynolds, confronted him directly. She remarked, “Leave then, mate! You’ve had two f**ing blinding birds and said there’s something missing from both of [those romances]. What do you want?”*

When Elma told Scott, “If you’re not happy, then go home babe,” he responded, “I will. Listen, I will go home,” and hinted he might leave the next day— a decision he ultimately followed through on.

Scott’s exit has sparked mixed reactions among viewers, with some defending his honesty while others praised Elma’s no-nonsense approach.
