A newly released Epstein photo Andrew Mandelson together has raised fresh questions about their past connections.
The image shows Prince Andrew, Peter Mandelson, and Jeffrey Epstein sitting around a wooden table. Both Andrew and Mandelson wear white bathrobes. The three men drink from mugs decorated with the United States flag.
ITV News first uncovered the image. Officials later released it as part of documents from the U.S. Department of Justice.
Investigators believe the photo was taken in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. The meeting likely happened in the late 1990s or early 2000s.
At that time, Epstein had not yet served his 2008 prison sentence for soliciting prostitution from a minor.
The photo appears similar to another image published in Epstein’s so-called “birthday book.” That collection surfaced in previous document releases.
Reports also claimed Mandelson wrote a letter to Epstein for the book. In that letter, he allegedly described Epstein as his “best pal.”
The Epstein photo Andrew Mandelson connection has gained attention after the U.S. Department of Justice released more than three million documents earlier this year.
Authorities arrested both Andrew and Mandelson on suspicion of misconduct in public office last month. However, police later released them while investigations continue.
Mandelson previously served as the United Kingdom’s ambassador to the United States. The government removed him from the role in September after questions about his relationship with Epstein.
Meanwhile, Andrew lost his royal and military titles in October 2025 because of his links to the disgraced financier.
The controversy has also placed pressure on Keir Starmer and his government.
Officials recently published a set of documents known as the “Mandelson Files.” These papers relate to Mandelson’s appointment to the diplomatic position.
Opposition politicians from the Conservative Party accused the government of withholding information. They argued that key correspondence between Downing Street and Mandelson was missing.
However, Energy Minister Michael Shanks denied any cover-up.
He explained that investigators withheld some documents because of an ongoing inquiry by the Metropolitan Police.
Officials said they will release the remaining material when the investigation allows.
Despite the growing scrutiny, both Andrew and Mandelson continue to deny wrongdoing regarding their past associations with Epstein.
Epstein died in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. His case continues to attract global attention as investigators review thousands of documents and photographs.
The Epstein photo Andrew Mandelson image now adds another piece of evidence to the expanding archive surrounding Epstein’s network and connections.
