Brooklyn Peltz Beckham is hitting the racetrack as he temporarily puts his culinary aspirations on hold to explore the world of motorsport. The 26-year-old son of football legend David Beckham and fashion icon Victoria Beckham is participating in Formula E’s Evo Sessions at the Miami International Autodrome, where 11 celebrities will get behind the wheel of the high-speed GEN3 Evo race cars.
Speaking about his latest career shift, Brooklyn revealed how his famous father reacted to the news. “Obviously, my dad was just like, ‘Just be careful’,” he shared, adding that motorsport has always been a shared passion between him and David. “We’ve definitely bonded over cars and racing over the years, so he’s really excited. He just told me, ‘Be careful, have fun, and enjoy it’.”
Brooklyn’s wife, actress Nicola Peltz Beckham, initially had concerns about his participation. However, her hesitation quickly turned into admiration after seeing her husband in his racing gear. “[Nicola] was a little bit worried about me doing this, but then she saw me in my race outfit and said, ‘You should do this as a job. You look really good!’,” Brooklyn revealed.
The aspiring racer humorously hinted that his new look might even lead to a career change. “She was a little bit worried at first, but after I got out of the car, she was like, ‘You look really sexy!’ So I might be changing careers,” he joked.
Brooklyn has explored multiple career paths over the years, from photography to cooking, and now motorsport appears to be the latest addition to his list of interests. Whether this will mark a serious shift in his professional journey remains to be seen, but for now, he is embracing the thrill of the track.
