LONDON – The Traitors star Charlotte Chilton has shared an emotional message on social media following the recent revelation that singer Conor Maynard is not the biological father of her baby, Penelope.
Charlotte, 32, who previously underwent IVF, posted a poignant photo of her daughter’s teddy bear on Instagram, reflecting on her difficult journey to motherhood.
“This teddy was the first thing I bought Penelope when she was only 10 weeks in my tummy,” she wrote. “I figured if I had to bury her, she would have that from me. I never thought I would actually ever get to give this gift to my rainbow baby.”

She added: “So now the fact she loves this teddy so much makes me feel so much better about all the losses I had. We are so excited for our bright future!”
Charlotte, who came into the spotlight during the 2024 series of The Traitors, announced her pregnancy last year, claiming Conor Maynard was the father following a one-night encounter. She has since said that the pop star distanced himself after learning about the pregnancy.
Earlier this month, Conor Maynard shared a public statement confirming that a paternity test—taken in the presence of legal representatives—showed he is not Penelope’s father. He expressed hope that the matter could now be put to rest and urged kindness toward all involved, particularly with a child at the heart of the situation.
Despite the results, sources close to Charlotte claim she still believes Conor may be the father, but Conor’s representatives say the test results have put the matter to rest definitively.
Conor, meanwhile, appears to be moving forward. He recently posted a photo with his girlfriend Kitty Bertrand outside their new home, writing: “Onto a new chapter.”
Charlotte continues to focus on life as a devoted mum, sharing touching moments with her daughter and expressing gratitude for the strength she’s found through her journey.
