Christine McGuinness Makes History as First Female Winner of Celebrity Hunted

Must read

Christine McGuinness has made Celebrity Hunted history by becoming the first female contestant to evade capture and win the intense reality series. Partnering with Blue’s Duncan James, the 36-year-old documentary-maker and mother-of-three successfully outmaneuvered the hunters, marking a major personal achievement.

Reflecting on the experience, Christine revealed that taking part in the Channel 4 series has boosted her confidence and given her a new perspective on life. Diagnosed with autism in 2021, she admitted that she often doubts herself but realized through the show that she is more capable than she previously believed.

“The best thing from this experience was realizing that I can do more than I think I can,” Christine shared. “If I’m with the right person—someone understanding and caring—I’m a lot more capable than I give myself credit for. I’ve realized I’m sometimes too hard on myself.”

Christine, who shares 11-year-old twins Leo and Penelope and eight-year-old Felicity—all of whom are also autistic—with ex-husband Paddy McGuinness, expressed how important it was for her to set an example for her children. “I want them to grow up knowing that nothing should hold them back,” she said.

Since splitting from Paddy McGuinness in 2022, Christine has been navigating single life while embracing self-discovery. Filming Celebrity Hunted gave her valuable time to reflect on what she wants next in life, and she is determined to embrace new challenges.
