Sam Thompson spent a heartfelt Valentine’s Day with his sister Louise following his recent breakup with former Love Island star Zara McDermott. The Made in Chelsea star, 32, chose to mark the occasion with his 34-year-old sibling, who lives next door, highlighting the close bond they share.
Both Sam and Louise took to social media to express their affection for one another, with Louise going the extra mile to make the day special for her younger brother. She decorated her home with candles and hung pages from her book on strings from the ceiling, creating an emotional and intimate setting.
In a touching video shared on Instagram, Louise asked Sam if he had read the acknowledgments section of her book. When he admitted he hadn’t, she revealed that she had written a heartfelt dedication to him.

Caught off guard, Sam was visibly moved as he began reading the passage aloud. It read: “My brother Sam, for visiting the hospital so regularly and for bringing your tremendous humour, for distracting me so thoroughly with chat about work and world domination.
“For knowing me better than anyone else because we share a mother and a father and a hell of a lot of DNA.
“Even though our lives have had an interesting interwoven nature over the years, sending us on separate journeys and then bringing us back together, we still share so many silly similarities. We are truly cut from the same cloth.”
The emotional moment showcased the strength of their sibling bond, especially during a difficult time for Sam following his high-profile breakup.
