Youngest daughter Hermione, 25, humorously reflected on the renovations in a social media post, stating, “They wanted a smaller house, we wanted a bigger one, cue tearing down the library, ripping down walls, only to rebuild the same place and creating holes large enough in the floor to cause a lawsuit. All in the name of multi-generational living. Half the house, half the cost, ten times the laundry.”
Despite the occasional chaos of a bustling household, Laurence finds peace in his newly finished kitchen. Unveiled over the festive season, he proudly showcased the space, calling it “perfect” and revealing the bespoke vinyl floor from Harvey Maria, which he humorously dubbed the “Festivo” pattern. “I just can’t wait to never cook in here, just stand looking ornamental,” Laurence joked.
