Ioan Gruffudd has officially tied the knot with fiancée Bianca Wallace, two years after his highly publicized and contentious divorce from actress Alice Evans.
The couple, who announced their engagement in January 2024, shared the news via Instagram, posting a heartfelt video of their intimate ceremony. Set against a stunning sea view, the clip shows Ioan and Bianca exchanging vows, with Ioan visibly emotional, wiping away tears as he declared his love.
They captioned their posts simply: “Mr & Mrs Gruffudd. Marriage now, wedding later.”
The marriage comes after a turbulent few years for Ioan, 51, following his divorce from Alice Evans, with whom he shares two daughters, Ella and Elsie. Ioan filed for divorce in March 2021 after Alice publicly accused him of abandoning their family. Their split evolved into a bitter custody battle, involving accusations of parental alienation and emotional manipulation.
In 2022, Ioan obtained a restraining order against Alice. He later accused her of preventing their daughters from attending court-mandated therapy sessions and of encouraging their eldest daughter to file her own restraining order against him — a move the actor described as deeply damaging.
Despite the legal struggles, Ioan appears to have found happiness again with Bianca, and the couple are now focused on building a future together.
