Jack Osbourne and his wife Aree have welcomed their newest daughter, naming her Ozzy in tribute to his late father.
The announcement came via Instagram, where Jack and his mother Sharon shared a photo of the newborn. The caption read, “Introducing Ozzy Matilda Osbourne.” In the image, the baby holds a small bat toy, referencing a famous moment from Ozzy Sr.’s rock ’n’ roll career.
Jack, 40, already has a three-year-old daughter, Maple, with Aree Gearheart. He also has three daughters from his previous marriage to Lisa Stelly: Pearl Clementine, Andy Rose, and Minnie Theodora.
He revealed that Aree’s pregnancy became known after he left the I’m A Celebrity reality series last December. Jack described the news as “a healthy distraction” and said it helped him cope with grief following his father’s passing.
Ozzy Osbourne, the rock legend, died in July at the age of 76. Earlier this month, he was honored with a tribute at the Brit Awards. Singer Robbie Williams, a close family friend, led the performance.
The Osbourne family has continued celebrating Ozzy’s legacy. Jack and Sharon announced on their podcast that Ozzfest, Ozzy’s renowned heavy metal and hard rock festival, will return in 2027. Sharon explained, “The time to just sit and do nothing has gone, and I’m better keeping busy.”
The festival last ran in 2018, and the Osbournes plan to take it to Aston Villa’s Villa Park Stadium and to the United States. Fans are eagerly anticipating the revival, which will celebrate the music and energy that made Ozzy famous.
Jack Osbourne baby Ozzy is now part of a family that continues to honor its legendary patriarch. The name choice underscores the deep bond between father and son, as well as the family’s determination to carry forward his musical legacy.
The arrival of Ozzy Matilda brings both joy and a sense of continuity. The family celebrates her birth as a reminder of love, resilience, and the lasting impact of Ozzy Osbourne on music and culture.
