Jesy Nelson Shares Hospital Update as She Uses Wheelchair During High-Risk Pregnancy

Jesy Nelson has shared a heartfelt update from hospital, revealing she now requires a wheelchair to leave her room due to her high-risk pregnancy.

The former Little Mix star, 32, is currently expecting twins with boyfriend Zion Foster and has been hospitalised for over a week after being diagnosed with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS), a rare but serious condition that affects identical twins sharing a placenta.

Taking to her Instagram stories on Sunday, Jesy appeared in good spirits and expressed her gratitude to fans for their support during what she described as a “very complex” time.

Speaking from her hospital room with Zion by her side, she said: “Hi guys, happy Sunday! We just wanted to come on here because we are another week further along and we feel so grateful and blessed that these little babies are still going strong.”

She went on to thank fans for their “wonderful, supportive, beautiful messages”, adding that they had helped keep her spirits up.

Jesy, dressed in a flamingo-print shirt, added that while she can’t walk around unaided, Zion has been wheeling her outside for short breaks in the fresh air. “That’s as far as we can go,” she said with a smile.

This is the first time the singer has spoken publicly since Mother’s Day, when she confirmed she had undergone emergency surgery to treat the TTTS and give her twins “the best chance of survival”.

“The operation was a success, which is just absolutely incredible,” she told followers last week. “We are so, so lucky to have the most amazing doctors.”

However, Jesy confirmed she won’t be discharged any time soon, explaining that her cervix remains dangerously short, putting her at risk of premature labour.

“I can’t leave the hospital because my waters could break at any point and I’m still very, very early,” she shared.

Fans and friends have continued to flood the singer’s social media with well-wishes as she and Zion navigate this challenging journey.

Jesy has promised to keep her followers updated as her pregnancy progresses.
