Joe Jonas denies any drug use following a viral video that sparked widespread speculation online. The clip, which circulated widely on social media, showed Jonas fidgeting with his nose during a concert.
The 36-year-old singer dismissed rumors that he was snorting cocaine backstage while touring with his brothers, Nick and Kevin Jonas. He told Esquire, “I’ve never touched cocaine in my life.”
He added, “But if I did, I think I’d be a little slicker about it than doing it onstage.” The comments aimed to clarify the situation directly with fans.
The video, which has accumulated over 11 million views on TikTok, shows Jonas picking at his nose and wiping it with a towel. He appeared to check his reflection in a mirror before joining his brothers onstage.
Some viewers speculated that his behavior indicated drug use. One TikTok user wrote, “Making sure no white powder is visible,” while another joked, “Joe Jonas being caught on camera doing coke was not on my 2025 bingo card.”
Other fans defended Jonas, attributing the nasal activity to allergies or a runny nose. One user insisted, “I think he was just blowing his nose, guys,” while another added, “God forbid a man have a snotty nose.”
Jonas himself previously commented on the clip, writing, “lol you never had a booger?” The post has since been deleted. His team has not issued any formal statement beyond the Esquire interview.
Meanwhile, the Jonas Brothers’ tour has continued to generate viral moments, though most attention comes from nostalgic performances rather than controversy.
In August, the band surprised fans by bringing out Demi Lovato at their MetLife Stadium show in New Jersey. They performed songs from the 2008 Disney Channel film Camp Rock, including “This is Me” and “Wouldn’t Change a Thing.”
Lovato described the reunion as meaningful, telling a podcast, “It was so nice and it was so healing for me, too. We’ve been through so much together.”
On the personal front, Joe Jonas finalized his divorce from actress Sophie Turner in September last year. The former couple shares two young daughters. Lovato, meanwhile, married singer-songwriter Jordan Lutes earlier this year.
Despite the recent scrutiny, Joe Jonas denies any wrongdoing and continues to focus on music and touring with his brothers. Fans remain engaged with both the performances and his personal updates.
