Comedian Katherine Ryan has made a sharp remark about Danny Jones after he was filmed sharing a “drunken kiss” with Love Island star Maura Higgins at a party following the BRIT Awards. The 38-year-old McFly guitarist and the 34-year-old reality TV star were seen locking lips at the event, which was held at 180 Studios in central London.
While Ryan was unable to attend the star-studded event due to being in hospital receiving treatment for lupus, she certainly didn’t miss the drama. The following morning, she posted a TikTok video from her hospital bed, where she took a swipe at Jones.
In her clip, Ryan sarcastically commented on the situation, making a pointed reference to his apparent forgetfulness about his family. “Oh my god, he wouldn’t do that, he couldn’t do that. I know that really looks like what I’m seeing with my own eyes in the video, but he just wouldn’t do that,” she quipped, pulling a sarcastic expression.
She then added: “They do that! They leave the house for three minutes to get milk and forget they have a whole family! They do that!”
Ryan’s remarks quickly went viral, and the video was captioned: “Just trying to mind my business but can’t help but catch up on the news.”
This incident has added to the drama surrounding the celebrities as they were later seen laughing together at a Sony Music party around 4 a.m. on Monday morning.
