Kieran Hayler charged with multiple sexual offences has drawn widespread attention. Katie Price has appeared publicly for the first time since the allegations emerged.
Hayler, 38, faces three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault against a 13-year-old girl. He allegedly committed the offences between June and October 2016, while married to Katie Price.
The couple got married in 2013 and had two children before splitting in 2018. The alleged victim is not related to either Price or Hayler.
On Tuesday, Katie Price drove her Range Rover to a live show with Kerry Katona in Northampton. She appeared composed, showing focus on her professional commitments despite the ongoing case.
The Crown Prosecution Service confirmed Katie may have to testify in court. A spokesperson said her marriage to Hayler during the alleged offences made her testimony important. Family and friends could also provide evidence to ensure the truth comes out.
Earlier the same day, Hayler walked from a car park to a train station. He appeared calm and cooperative despite the serious charges against him.
Sussex Police stated that Hayler, from Northchapel, West Sussex, will appear at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on November 19. Officers continue investigating the case and are providing support to the girl.
Hayler’s legal team denied all allegations. They confirmed he strongly rejects the claims and has cooperated fully with authorities.
Hayler previously worked as a personal trainer, actor, stripper, and reality star. He met Katie Price in 2012 and proposed on Christmas Day.
The couple married at Sandals Royal Bahamian in January 2013, followed by a blessing ceremony in Weston-super-Mare. They honeymooned in the Maldives before welcoming their first child in August 2013, followed by their daughter Bunny.
Katie Price’s representatives declined to comment. The court will hear the case on November 19 at Crawley Magistrates’ Court.
