Football star Kyle Walker, 33, has reportedly developed a new secret obsession for olives as he embraces a quieter life in Italy, distancing himself from his marital struggles with wife Annie Kilner back in the UK.
Now on loan to AC Milan, the former Manchester City captain is said to have swapped his usual nights out for a more reserved routine, often frequenting bars but avoiding alcohol. Sources have described his new lifestyle as much calmer, with one revealing, “He doesn’t drink beer or anything like that. I’ve only seen him with a friend he hangs out with. He seems to be behaving, at least from what I can see.”
Walker’s decision to embrace a quieter life comes amidst ongoing personal turmoil, including his wife Annie’s decision to decline a £750,000 offer to appear on Celebrity Big Brother this year. Annie, 33, who shares a nine-month-old son, Rezon, with Kyle, is reportedly not keen to leave her young child for the three-week filming schedule.
TV bosses are eager to secure Annie’s participation in the show, especially since she has not yet publicly addressed her marriage to Kyle, who fathered two children with influencer Lauryn Goodman during their relationship.
In related news, Lauryn is reportedly planning to move to Italy next week to be closer to Kyle, adding further complexity to the footballer’s personal life.
Representatives for both Annie and Kyle were contacted for comment.
