Millie Bobby Brown revealed she cried for hours before filming her last scenes on Stranger Things. The emotional moment hit her hard after growing up on set. She explained that she cried for about three hours the night before stepping back onto the Stranger Things set.

The actress first joined Stranger Things at just twelve years old. The show premiered in 2016, launching her career internationally. The final season, the fifth series, begins streaming in the UK at 1 a.m. on Thursday, November 27.

During her appearance on the podcast Dish from Waitrose, Brown described her reaction when returning to set. Bursting into tears as soon as she arrived, she called the experience “really, really emotional” and said it reminded her of how much the show shaped her life.

Brown also opened up about her personal life, including her wedding to Jake Bongiovi. Married last year, the couple shared details about their memorable first dance. They learned a choreographed routine to a medley of songs from the movie Grease.

Initially, she wanted to recreate the iconic Dirty Dancing lift, but they decided it was too risky. The Grease medley felt safer yet still created a lasting memory. She added that the dance will be remembered even when they are old.

Adding to the celebration, British singer Raye performed live at the wedding. The singer performed for the father-daughter dance, accompanied by songs from Frank Sinatra. Brown described the performance as “amazing” and “epic,” calling it a highlight of the day.

During the podcast, the actress discussed her food preferences. Carrots are a favorite, while cake, coconuts, couscous, and quinoa are less appealing. Brown admitted she doesn’t understand why people photograph their meals, preferring to stay present.

She also shared that avoiding social media helps her focus on real-life experiences. By staying off her phone, she enjoys every moment fully. Her reflections show a desire to cherish both her career milestones and personal life.

Brown’s journey from a 12-year-old Stranger Things star to a married adult with memorable experiences demonstrates her growth. Emotional connections clearly matter to her, both on screen and in her personal life.
