Molly-Mae Update shows the Love Island star rushing her daughter Bambi and boyfriend Tommy Fury to hospital. The 26-year-old explained that both her toddler and the boxer, also 26, became seriously ill and needed urgent care.
In her latest YouTube vlog, Molly detailed how Bambi was shaking and crying in her sleep with a high temperature. She said she rushed her daughter to be seen by doctors immediately. Molly admitted, “My nails summarise how this week has gone…hanging on by a thread.”
Molly explained that Tommy became unwell first, initially thought to be food poisoning or a bug. After nine days, his condition showed no improvement. She added, “Last night at 3 in the morning, he was up…his soul was leaving his body in that toilet. It was so traumatic.”
She continued to describe his symptoms, saying he could not keep food or liquids down. “He’s fine within himself but when he eats or drinks, he just feels ill. It’s bizarre.” She noted he had not eaten a proper meal in over a week, lost weight, and appeared gaunt with dark circles under his eyes.
Turning attention to Bambi, Molly said her daughter had a temperature of 40 degrees and her heart was pounding rapidly. She explained, “I woke her up and she was in such a state. Tears were coming down her eyes but she was asleep. Her body was on fire.”
Molly immediately took Bambi to a walk-in hospital, where doctors saw her straight away. They believe Bambi has the flu and advised using Calpol, Nurofen, and monitoring her condition. Molly confirmed she would return if her daughter’s symptoms did not improve.
Reflecting on parenthood during illness, Molly admitted she has been living in a constant state of fight or flight. She said, “This is just the life of a mum. You’re always playing catch up. Parenthood looks like this sometimes.”
She concluded the update by saying she returned home and put Bambi down for a nap while closely monitoring her. Molly-Mae Update gives fans insight into the challenges of caring for sick loved ones and the pressures of parenting.
