Fans of Niall Horan album now have a release date to mark. Horan confirmed that he will release his new album, Dinner Party, on June 5.
In addition, he allows fans to pre-order the record immediately. Pre-orders include a pre-sale code for upcoming UK and European tour dates, which Horan plans to announce soon. Horan reunites with longtime collaborators Julian Bunetta and John Ryan for this project. They serve as executive producers and helped shape the sound of his previous albums.
The album’s title track drops on March 20. Horan explained that the song draws inspiration from a simple dinner party that “changed the course of my life.” He wrote on X: “This song is about a really happy and big moment in my life. That evening became the nucleus for the rest of the record.” Recently, Horan finished recording the album. He shared behind-the-scenes clips and studio photos, posting online: “Album is DONE.”
He also spoke on Zoom during the Hits Radio Breakfast Show with Fleur East, Will Best, and James Barr. Horan said: “I’m just finishing some vocal bits and things I wasn’t happy with, but yeah! I should release music sometime this year, and I’m very excited about it!” The album follows his recent duet, Drive Safe, with Myles Smith. This is his first full-length project since 2023’s The Show.
Horan launched his solo career with Flicker in 2017, which reached number three in the UK. He later topped the charts with Heartbreak Weather in 2020 and The Show in 2023.
Fans eagerly await both Dinner Party and the upcoming tour. Horan promises personal insights and catchy pop melodies that showcase his growth since leaving One Direction.
