Catherine praised the film’s cinematography and music. In particular, she described the score as fantastic. Moreover, she highlighted its portrayal of intergenerational grief. She also commended the young actors for their performances.
Additionally, the princess said she loved the film’s connection to nature. She described the storytelling as stripped back and powerful. According to her, the film allows viewers to fully experience raw human emotion.
For now, William has chosen to wait before watching it himself. Nevertheless, the Hamnet BAFTAs reaction from both royals has drawn significant attention.
