TV presenter Ruth Langsford has been spotted still wearing her wedding ring months after her split from longtime partner and former co-host Eamonn Holmes.
The couple, who had been together for 27 years and married for 14, announced their separation in May last year. They share a 22-year-old son, Jack. Despite the split, Ruth was recently seen stepping out in a stylish green coat, carrying a leather handbag and a travel bag, with her wedding band still on her finger.
Speaking about the challenges of going through a public breakup, Ruth shared, “A divorce is very difficult and it’s very painful, but most people don’t have to do it in the public eye, with everybody having an opinion about you and writing things about you and commenting things about you. But that’s the nature of my job. I’ve always had that and if you can’t cope with that, you shouldn’t be doing this job.”
Her decision to continue wearing the ring has sparked speculation among fans, though neither she nor Eamonn have publicly commented on the status of their relationship since their split.
