Former Love Island All Stars contestant Samie Elishi has opened up about behind-the-scenes drama involving Luca Bish and Grace Jackson that never made it to air. The 24-year-old bombshell had set her sights on Luca upon entering the villa last week, only to find herself caught in the middle of tensions between him and his then-partner Grace.
Luca, 25, had been coupled up with series 11 star Grace, 26, for much of the season. Despite a public vote pairing Samie and Luca together, the Brighton native ultimately chose to reunite with Grace, leaving Samie vulnerable and eventually dumped from the villa in last Friday’s episode.
In a candid interview, Samie revealed that arguments between Luca and Grace were more frequent than viewers might have realized. “I just think if they’re happy, let them be happy,” she shared. “They spent a lot of time together around the villa. It’s pretty clear they fancy each other. They were arguing, and there was a bit of animosity, but if they’re happy, then good luck to them.”
Tensions heightened after Luca decided to sleep outside on the daybeds with Grace, ignoring his new partner Samie. This sparked speculation among villa residents about where Luca’s heart truly lay.
The drama came to a head during a recoupling ceremony where the boys made their choices. Ronnie picked Harriett, Curtis chose Ekin-Su, Omar coupled up with Catherine, Sammy paired with Elma, and Casey opted for Gabby. In a decisive moment, Luca reunited with Grace, leaving Samie and Danielle single and vulnerable.
Ultimately, Danielle received a text announcing that she and Samie had been dumped from the villa, as there were more girls than boys left in the competition.
