SNL UK lineup has been confirmed for its first three episodes, beginning this Saturday, March 21. The new series of the long-running variety show will air on Sky and NOW TV for six episodes.
US comedian and actress Tina Fey will host the debut, with Wet Leg performing live as musical guests. Next week, Northern Irish actor Jamie Dornan will present, joined by Wolf Alice. Episode three, airing April 4, will see Riz Ahmed host while Kasabian provide live music.
According to a press release, these initial hosts and performers mark the start of a bold new chapter. They combine SNL’s long-standing legacy with a fresh generation of British comedy talent. Live from London at 10pm every Saturday, each 75-minute episode features a new host and musical guest.
The inaugural cast includes Hammed Animashaun, Celeste Dring, Ania Magliano, George Fouracres, and Jack Shep. Other cast members include Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Emma Sidi, and Paddy Young. SNL creator Lorne Michaels will serve as executive producer for the UK adaptation, keeping the live format intact.
Lead producer James Longman praised the cast, calling them bold, exciting, and incredibly funny. He added that the chemistry between members makes the show especially entertaining. Sky executive Phil Edgar-Jones said the series will bring laughter to viewers while building on the original US legacy. He highlighted that SNL has discovered and nurtured outstanding comedy talent for more than 50 years.
Wolf Alice recently won the British Group award at the BRITs 2026, showcasing their rise in the UK music scene. The band encouraged fans to support grassroots venues where they first learned to play and write songs. During the BRITs ceremony, Wolf Alice delivered a theatrical performance of their single, The Sofa.
