Sophie Turner Set to Relocate to the UK with Daughters After Custody Battle with Joe Jonas

Must read

Sophie Turner is reportedly preparing to move back to the UK permanently with her two daughters following the conclusion of a highly publicised custody dispute with ex-husband Joe Jonas.

The Game of Thrones star, 29, and Jonas Brothers singer Joe, 35, announced their separation in 2023 after four years of marriage. Since their split, the pair have navigated a complicated legal process regarding custody of their children — four-year-old Willa and two-year-old Delphine.

While they initially issued a joint statement committing to co-parenting, tensions escalated when Turner accused Jonas of refusing to return their daughters’ passports, effectively keeping them in the US. By early 2024, the dispute was resolved privately, coinciding with the sale of their shared home in Miami.

Now, Turner is said to be actively planning her return to the UK, where she’s reportedly been scouting schools for her daughters. Sources suggest the children will primarily reside with her in Britain moving forward.

Since the split, Sophie has found new love with British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson, 30, the heir to Viscount Cowdray. The couple made their public debut in February 2024 at a Lunar New Year event in London and have been spotted together frequently since.

Professionally, Turner has remained busy, recently starring in Joan and the critically acclaimed drama The Staircase. She is also rumoured to be a top contender for the role of Lara Croft in an upcoming Tomb Raider reboot.

Meanwhile, Joe Jonas has kept a low profile on the relationship front, instead focusing on his music career. He continues to tour globally with brothers Kevin and Nick, and is preparing to release his second solo album, Music for People Who Believe In Love, later this spring. Some tracks on the album are reportedly inspired by his split from Turner, though he has emphasized that the project is about healing, not blame.

“I have a beautiful life that I’m grateful for,” Joe said in a recent interview. “I’ve got two beautiful kids. I’m a happy person, and the music needed to resemble that — but also, the journey to get here.”

Turner’s return to the UK marks a fresh start for the actress, both personally and professionally, as she settles into this next chapter with her young daughters.
