Strictly Come Dancing stars Jamie Borthwick and Jowita Przystal have fuelled romance rumours after being spotted looking close and affectionate during a recent outing in London. The pair, both 30, were seen outside the Adelphi Theatre, where they attended Strictly stars Amy Dowden and Carlos Gu’s live production Reborn.
Borthwick, best known for his role as Jay Brown in EastEnders, and professional dancer Jowita appeared happy and relaxed in each other’s company. Under the spring sunshine, Jowita wrapped her arms around Jamie, who responded with a tight embrace and a playful nuzzle to her neck as they laughed together before heading inside the venue.
The pair first met during the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special in 2023, where Jamie was crowned winner alongside dance partner Nancy Xu. Although they were not paired together on the show, reports suggest a connection began to develop behind the scenes, eventually blossoming into what is now believed to be a romantic relationship.
Since their initial meeting, Jamie and Jowita have continued to spend time together, especially during the Strictly tour across the UK. Jamie is currently dancing with Michelle Tsiakkas, while Jowita remains a key member of the professional dancers’ line-up. Last year, she reached the semi-finals of the main series with reality TV personality Pete Wicks, who previously hinted at a special bond between Jowita and Jamie.
