During the interview, host Jimmy Fallon mentioned a playful superhero rivalry. Pattinson’s Batman faces Spider-Man, played by Zendaya’s rumored husband, Tom Holland. Pattinson, 39, starred as Batman in the 2022 film The Batman. Holland, 29, has played Spider-Man in six Marvel movies.
Zendaya, 29, who plays MJ in the Spider-Man films, shared details about her hectic filming schedule. As a result, Fallon asked Pattinson if he could visit the Spider-Man set. He replied, “I think I’d be allowed. People always ask, ‘Who’d win, Spider-Man or Batman?’ I can’t legally say Spider-Man.”
Moreover, Fallon asked if Pattinson knew Holland personally. Pattinson answered, “Yes, I love Tom. We’ve done three movies together.” Zendaya added, “He loves us,” which caused laughter in the audience.
The discussion then turned to scheduling logistics. Zendaya explained, “I wrapped Euphoria at four in the morning and flew to Budapest to shoot Dune the same day.” Additionally, she noted, “Good scheduling and a strong team make it possible.”
Fallon commented on Zendaya’s movie-themed outfits. She confirmed she often coordinates her wardrobe with her films. For example, she wore a black Armani Privé gown borrowed from Cate Blanchett at the Rome premiere. Meanwhile, for The Tonight Show, she chose a sheer navy lace dress by Zimmermann. Pattinson jokingly complained she never shares her wardrobe plans in advance.
In The Drama, Zendaya stars as Emma Harwood, who is about to marry Charlie Thompson, played by Pattinson. The story follows their wedding preparations, and then a shocking confession disrupts their plans. Kristoffer Borgli wrote and directed the film, which premiered on March 17 in Los Angeles and will reach theaters nationwide on April 3.
Earlier, Zendaya appeared in New York City wearing a chic tweed outfit. Fans noticed a slim gold band on her ring finger, adding to speculation about a secret marriage to Holland.
