The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, praised the show’s global reach. He noted its positive effect on restaurants, hotels, and local attractions. Additionally, he highlighted its role in solidifying London’s status as a music capital.

The report found ABBA Voyage generated £2.06 billion in UK turnover and £1.14 billion in gross value added. Each £1 of revenue produces £5.70 in total turnover. By comparison, this surpasses sectors like food, beverage, and construction.

Employment opportunities are extensive. Direct concert roles, hospitality, and retail jobs supported by attendee spending account for 9,739 positions across the UK. In London alone, ABBA Voyage added £1.51 billion in turnover and £833.1 million in gross value added. On average, attendees spend £224.10 per day.

Local boroughs, including Newham, Hackney, Tower Hamlets, and Waltham Forest, saw £388.7 million in turnover. In particular, international visitors contributed significantly, alongside domestic travelers. Local businesses benefited in accommodation, restaurants, transport, shops, and arena services.

Socially, ABBA Voyage impact accounts for £70.4 million. Visitors reported reduced stress, improved wellbeing, and stronger social connections. These results highlight the show’s cultural importance.

Björn Ulvaeus praised the show’s success. He explained it reaches new generations and may inspire similar productions worldwide. Furthermore, plans for global expansion include Asia, Australia, and North America. Announcements are expected soon.

Overall, ABBA Voyage continues to drive economic growth, cultural engagement, and social benefits, proving that innovative entertainment can leave a lasting impact.
