Harry Styles launched his Harry Styles show on Netflix, titled Harry Styles: One Night in Manchester. The concert took place at Co-op Live, and 20,500 fans attended. He performed his fourth studio album, Kiss All The Time, Disco, Occasionally, in full. Afterwards, he played an encore featuring Watermelon Sugar, Golden, and As It Was.
During the show, Styles told fans, “I’ve rediscovered what a privilege it is to be in people’s lives through music.” He thanked the audience for their support over the past decade. To preserve the performance, fans placed phones in bags and received disposable cameras to capture memories.
Earlier this year, Styles performed at the Brit Awards in the same arena. He opened and closed the Manchester show with the single Aperture. Meanwhile, he danced alongside his band and a gospel choir, highlighting the album’s disco-inspired energy.
Some tickets were reserved for 100 students from Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, Styles’ former school in Cheshire. Others earned tickets by volunteering at community projects. This approach allowed young fans to attend the concert at only £20 per ticket, making it accessible.
The Harry Styles show precedes his Together, Together tour, which begins in May. Fans will see him perform 12 nights at Wembley Stadium and in cities including Amsterdam, New York, Sao Paulo, Mexico City, Melbourne, and Sydney. The tour could break records for the most shows at the national stadium in a year.
Styles also made a cameo on Saturday Night Live in the United States before the show’s release. He has maintained a successful solo career since One Direction went on hiatus in 2016. His albums include Harry Styles (2017), Fine Line (2019), Harry’s House (2022), and Kiss All The Time, Disco, Occasionally. He has achieved three UK number one singles as a solo artist.
Critics and fans praised the Harry Styles show for its energy, creative staging, and strong vocals. Netflix viewers worldwide can now stream the special and experience the excitement of this landmark release day.
