Singer Jesy Nelson’s partner, Zion Foster, has shared an emotional update on their difficult pregnancy journey, revealing that he and the former Little Mix star have spent the last six weeks living in hospital to protect their unborn twins.
The couple faced a terrifying ordeal earlier this month when Jesy underwent emergency surgery after their babies developed twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome — a rare and serious condition that could have been fatal for one or both twins.
In his first interview about the pregnancy complications, Zion expressed both relief and pride:
“They’re giving us so much hope they’re going to come out healthy. Jesy and the twins have come through so much. There were so many times in this pregnancy we didn’t think we’d get to where we are now.”
Zion, a rapper, is set to run the London Marathon this Sunday to raise funds for the Twins Trust, a charity supporting families expecting twins. Dedicating his run to his unborn children, he added: Their strength has been unmatched. We literally feel like we know them already just because of how much they’ve overcome.
Jesy Nelson, 32, announced her pregnancy earlier this year. Despite the challenges, both parents remain optimistic and determined to welcome their little fighters into the world safely.
