Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon is still living under the same roof as her husband Azuka Ononye — despite their split last year — as they focus on co-parenting their children.
The TV star, who is set to appear in the show’s live semi-finals this weekend, separated from Azuka after nearly two decades together. However, the former couple continue to share their home as they adjust to single life and prioritize their daughters, Azura, 10, and Anaya, 4.
Alesha, 45, and Azuka first met in 2006, with Alesha once admitting she “played hard to get for about a year” before giving in to Azuka’s advances. The pair reportedly married in secret in 2017. Friends of the couple revealed that over time, their relationship transitioned into more of a friendship, leading to their eventual breakup.
Following the split, Alesha took time away for herself, enjoying a luxurious £1,000-a-night getaway in Jamaica. She has since confirmed the separation and explained that the decision to continue living together was made for the stability of their family.
“They are still living together for the sake of their family and are co-parenting,” a source shared.
