Hollywood star Tom Hardy attempted to go incognito while walking his French bulldog, Blue, by donning a balaclava—but curious onlookers still managed to recognize him.

The Venom actor, 47, was spotted multiple times in South West London, over 30 miles away from the £5 million homehe shares with his wife, Charlotte Riley. Despite his best efforts to stay under the radar, Hardy was forced to reveal his identity when Blue slipped his lead and ran toward a neighbor. As he lifted his Irish tricolour headgear, passersby quickly confirmed his presence.
One local resident remarked, “Tom is a regular visitor to the same road. People are saying it’s a long way from his family pad. He’s been spotted very early in the morning. It is a peculiar situation.”
Hardy’s dedication to his dog walks was even evident on Valentine’s evening, when he arrived in his distinctive £150,000 Audi RS Q8 to take Blue out for a stroll.
The father of three married Charlotte Riley in 2014 after meeting her on the set of Wuthering Heights. He is widely known for his role as Alfie Solomons in the hit BBC crime drama Peaky Blinders, as well as for earning an Oscar nomination for The Revenant in 2015.
Last year, Hardy also made headlines for his on-set demands, which reportedly caused tension during the making of The Bikeriders, a film inspired by a real-life photographer.
