Poll Shock: Reform UK Would Lead in Hung Parliament if Election Held Now

Must read

A bombshell new poll suggests Nigel Farage’s Reform UK would emerge as the largest party in a hung parliament if a general election were held today. The More in Common survey of 16,000 voters projects Reform winning 180 seats more than both the Conservatives and Labour, who are tied at 165 seats each.

The modelling paints a disastrous scenario for Labour, suggesting Sir Keir Starmer would lose 246 seats an even worse result than Jeremy Corbyn’s 2019 defeat. While polls this far from an election are unreliable predictors, the survey highlights the dramatic fragmentation of British politics.

“These findings show British politics has fractured to an unprecedented level,” said More in Common director Luke Tryl. The results come despite Reform currently having just four MPs after losing one of their five elected last year.

The poll underscores the volatile state of UK politics as voters appear to be abandoning traditional parties in record numbers. With no party projected to come close to a majority, the survey suggests Britain could be heading for its most unpredictable election in modern history.
