Coronation Street star Stephanie Davis has shared a heartbreaking update after her three-month-old baby Samuel suddenly stopped breathing—marking the second such emergency in recent weeks.
The 32-year-old actress said the terrifying moment happened just after a baby sensory class. While relaxing at a café, Samuel began foaming at the mouth and couldn’t breathe. Davis panicked and feared the worst.
“We were just having a nice day,” she said, “then he’s suddenly foaming with saliva. As a mum, you lose your head. It’s torture.”
Luckily, two hospital staff happened to be outside the café. They immediately stepped in to help and called an ambulance. Samuel was taken to hospital for tests, including a lumbar puncture, to find out what’s causing these repeated episodes.
“It’s been such an upsetting time,” Davis admitted. “I keep crying.”
This isn’t the first incident. Samuel was also rushed to hospital at two months old. Davis said he struggles with reflux and reacts badly when cold wind hits his face. She now watches him constantly, afraid he’ll stop breathing again.
“I’m so anxious,” she said. “Every time it happens, I think—what if next time he doesn’t recover?”
Fans and fellow mums flooded her social media with support. Many praised her honesty and courage. Davis says she shares these moments to raise awareness and show the raw reality of early motherhood.
