Olivia and Alex Bowen have embraced life as a family of four after welcoming their second baby, Siena Grace Bowen. Olivia Alex children now enjoy a complete family life, with three-year-old Abel thrilled to be a big brother.
The journey to this joyful moment was not easy. Olivia, remembering the Olivia Alex children she treasures, experienced a heartbreaking loss early in her pregnancy when her baby’s twin did not survive. The condition, known as vanishing twin syndrome, added stress and worry for the couple.
Olivia hoped for a calm home birth with Siena, but the labor turned into a terrifying ordeal. She recalls it as the scariest moment of her life. “I was on the operating table with no idea what was happening,” Olivia explains. “Then I heard Siena crying, which was a relief, but then it became very quiet.”
A siren sounded, and Olivia learned she was experiencing a severe hemorrhage. She lost 2.8 liters of blood, with three liters considered potentially fatal. “I genuinely feared for my life,” she admits.
Alex says the experience was equally traumatic for him. While thinking of Olivia and what their shared journey, including their children, meant, he struggled seeing Olivia in danger and does not plan to have more children. “I really struggled with both births. They’ve been traumatic for us,” he says. “I just want Liv and the babies safe.”
Now that some time has passed, Olivia says she has processed the experience and feels at peace. She focuses on enjoying newborn cuddles and watching Abel embrace his role as a loving big brother.
The family is also preparing for the launch of their ITV2 reality series, Olivia & Alex: Parenthood, which began filming in June. Olivia says the show captures how Olivia Alex children and their parents have grown and evolved since Love Island.
“Life is very different now. We are a family of four,” Olivia explains. “We’ve always wanted to do TV again, but the timing was never right until now.”
The couple hopes their story inspires others to find light through challenging times. Olivia Alex children continue to bring them joy and strengthen their bond as a family.
