Richard E Grant offered fans a peek at his stunning London home on Wednesday, showcasing lavish Christmas decorations.

The 68-year-old actor shared a series of Instagram posts featuring enormous baubles and twinkling lights in his garden. His west London residence already contains treasured items from his career, and the festive decor added extra charm.

Richard displayed his Christmas tree and garden ornaments, some inspired by Jo Malone displays, adding a whimsical touch. Earlier, he revealed he had sold his French holiday home after his wife Joan Washington passed away in 2021.

The Provence farmhouse, which Richard and Joan renovated together, had hosted 33 summers of family memories with their daughter Olivia. He admitted returning there alone felt too painful and sold the property with a “very heavy heart.”

Richard fondly recalled family days spent swimming, cooking, and enjoying black truffle baguettes introduced to him by Elton John. Inside his London home, Richard’s collection includes antiques, paintings, and souvenirs from his decades-long film career.

He decorated the interior with festive ornaments, while the back door featured giant star displays to welcome guests. To spread holiday cheer, Richard invited a gospel choir to perform at his property, emphasizing the Christmas spirit.

Richard previously shared that his Georgian home dates back to 1840, describing it as a childhood dream come true. Regarding love, he admitted he has not seriously considered finding a new partner since Joan’s death.

Richard said he remains hopeful but feels “fulfilled and sustained” through his close bond with Olivia and her husband. He also revealed he continues to write nightly emails to Joan, maintaining a connection he finds comforting and enduring.

Reflecting on his late wife’s humor, he recalled how Joan would jokingly prevent him from pursuing other women, showing her deep love. Even after meeting Barbra Streisand, Richard laughed at Joan’s playful questions about the encounter, highlighting their affectionate relationship.

Despite his grief, Richard continues to celebrate life and family, decorating his London home and cherishing memories of his late wife.
