Excitement is building as BRIT Awards 2026 prepares to take over Manchester, and fans eagerly await performances and winners. This year promises one of the most memorable ceremonies yet.
The BRITs revealed their shortlist during the Bring on the BRITs broadcast at Manchester’s Co-op Live. Moreover, Charley Marlowe and Sarah Story presented nominations across official BRITs social channels. Notably, almost 70 percent of nominees are women or non-binary performers, either solo or in mixed-gender groups.
Leading the nominations are Olivia Dean and Lola Young, who each received five nods. Meanwhile, Lily Allen earned three nominations for her album West End Girl, competing for best album, artist of the year, and pop act. Furthermore, Britpop legends Pulp return with a nomination for best group, their first in over three decades.
BRIT Awards 2026 will take place on Saturday, February 28, at Co-op Live in Manchester. Importantly, this marks the first ceremony outside London. The event will broadcast live on ITV1, ITVX, STV, and STV Player.
