Vogue Williams has spoken openly about her experiences with pregnancy loss while announcing she is expecting her fourth child. Moreover, she shared the details in a personal video on her YouTube channel. In addition, she explained how the experiences have shaped her feelings during her current pregnancy.
The Irish presenter revealed that she suffered two separate pregnancy losses. Firstly, she said the first loss occurred before the birth of her daughter Gigi in 2020. At the time, she experienced the loss very early in the pregnancy. Consequently, she described it as emotionally difficult and unexpected. Secondly, she explained that she experienced another pregnancy loss last year. During that time, she had already begun preparing to share the news with her children. However, a scan later confirmed that the pregnancy was no longer developing. As a result, she said the situation felt especially painful and sudden.
Williams admitted that these experiences have made her current pregnancy more stressful. She said she often feels anxious and cautious. In addition, she explained that she worries constantly about whether everything will progress normally. Despite this, she confirmed that she and her husband Spencer Matthews decided to try for another baby. The couple already share three children: Theodore, Gigi, and Otto. Therefore, they felt ready to expand their family again, even after previous difficulties.
Williams also acknowledged that she initially questioned whether she could go through another pregnancy. In contrast, she eventually decided that she did want to try again. Nevertheless, she said the fear of another loss has not completely gone away.
Meanwhile, she expressed gratitude for her current pregnancy. At the same time, she said she remains cautious about becoming too hopeful too soon. Consequently, she continues to take things day by day. Additionally, Williams highlighted how the experience has affected her emotionally. She said the losses changed how she views pregnancy. Moreover, she explained that it made her more aware of how uncertain the journey can be.
She thanked her audience for support after sharing her story. In conclusion, she said she hopes everything goes well this time, while continuing to manage her worries.
