Singer Sinitta has left I’m A Celebrity… South Africa after quitting a bushtucker trial during a tense moment in the camp. The exit has sparked what viewers are calling “jungle exit drama” on the all-star series.
She walked out shortly after Pussycat Dolls star Ashley Roberts was voted off earlier in the episode. During the trial, Sinitta shouted “I’m a celebrity, get me out of here.” As a result, producers stopped the challenge for all contestants. Sinitta entered the show confident. However, she later admitted that fear quickly took over. She said she felt “terrified” once she faced the jungle conditions. Despite this, she tried to maintain a strong “game face.”
She also said the experience forced her to confront long-held fears. In addition, she explained that she learned more about her resilience. She added that she discovered a calmer side to herself. Meanwhile, the cancelled trial affected the whole camp. Contestants lost progress in the challenge. This added more tension as the series moved toward the final.
Ashley Roberts also left the show in the same episode. She finished last in a puzzle challenge. She said the experience felt “really tough,” but she still felt proud of herself. After both exits, the remaining campmates moved closer to the final. The finalists include Mo Farah, Harry Redknapp, Scarlett Moffatt, Adam Thomas, and Craig Charles. Competition among them increased.
Sinitta later reflected on her time in camp. She said the experience changed her life. She also praised the friendships she made. However, she explained that she chose to leave to face her fears in her own way. Ultimately, her departure ended her jungle journey on an emotional note.
