Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, has opened up about her fears for the future and her determination to stay strong for her family. The 65-year-old mother to Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie shared her thoughts while promoting guided meditation as a tool for stress relief and self-care in recognition of World Cancer Day on February 4.

As a grandmother to five, including Beatrice’s baby daughter Athena, Sarah expressed concerns about her ability to watch her children and grandchildren grow up following her health battles. She revealed, “I was diagnosed with breast cancer and then malignant melanoma. I was trying to process whether I would be able to see my grandchildren, whether I would see my children, and this is why I am so delighted to have found guided meditation.”

Sarah described the meditation app she now uses as a “balm to the mind,” highlighting its role in helping her manage stress and find clarity during challenging times.

Her candid reflections offer a glimpse into her personal journey of resilience and the importance she places on being present for her family, even in the face of uncertainty.
