The MOBO Awards 2025 returned in spectacular fashion on Tuesday night, bringing together some of the biggest names in music to celebrate outstanding talent. Held at the Utilita Arena in Newcastle, the star-studded event was hosted by Love Island icon Indiyah Polack and comedian Eddie Kadi.
Indiyah, who made a memorable debut as a presenter last year, commanded the stage alongside Eddie, well-known for his time on Strictly Come Dancing. The night saw a range of prestigious awards handed out, including Album of the Year, International Act, and Song of the Year.
Among the highlights was the presentation of the MOBO Impact Award to legendary musician Vybz Kartel, nearly a year after his release from prison. The nominee list featured an impressive mix of talent, including Ghetts, Sampha, Darkoo, Cleo Sol, Little Simz, Raye, Jorja Smith, Myles Smith, Pozer, Spider, Native James, Duppy, Scorcher, Nines, Potter Payper, K-Trap, Beyoncé, Tems, and Tyla. Ghetts also earned a nomination for his role as Krazy in Supacell.
Before the ceremony kicked off, celebrities graced the red carpet in striking fashion. Love Island star Ella Thomas turned heads in an elegant black ensemble, while presenter Vick Hope stunned in a sophisticated black outfit. Other stars making a statement included Amber Gill, rap duo Krept & Konan, and more.
With dazzling performances, well-deserved accolades, and unforgettable moments, the MOBO Awards 2025 proved to be a night to remember.
