James Corden and Baby Reindeer star Jessica Gunning have been spotted on the London set of their upcoming dark comedy, The Christophers.
The film, which also stars Sir Ian McKellen, 85, follows the estranged children of a once-famous artist who attempt to forge his unfinished works and sell them for a fortune after his death. The cast also includes Michaela Coel, 37, known for her role in I May Destroy You.
Corden, 46, was last seen in the highly anticipated Gavin & Stacey Christmas special, while Gunning, 38, recently won an Emmy and a Golden Globe for her chilling portrayal of stalker Martha in Netflix’s Baby Reindeer.
Despite her award-winning performance, Gunning previously revealed that landing major acting roles has still been a challenge. She shared: “Richard has got incredible meetings out of this, and everyone’s said to me, ‘What have you got?’ One was about sharks—Celebrity Infested Waters—where stars swim with sharks, the other was for an Australian touring production of Peter Pan to play Mr. Smee.”
Now, with her role in The Christophers, Gunning is set to showcase her talent in a high-profile production alongside some of the industry’s biggest names.
