Former model and television personality Katie Price has revealed her concerns about potentially going through menopause, which she fears could affect her plans to have a sixth child.
The 46-year-old recently opened up about new health symptoms, including sleep disturbances and cold sweats, which have left her questioning whether she is experiencing the early stages of menopause.
Speaking to her sister Sophie, Katie shared her worries: “I’m not sleeping at night, and I’m normally a really good sleeper, so something’s going on. I’m just going to get my blood test because maybe I’m having an early menopause. I don’t know how it all works, but I’m still having my periods.”
She also noted that her bed was often drenched in cold sweat before her periods, making her wonder whether she was “going through the change.”
Katie’s concerns about menopause were first raised during her IVF journey, which was documented in her series Making Babies. During her visits to a fertility clinic with her then-fiancé Carl Woods, she received concerning news from a specialist about her reproductive health.
Medical experts informed Katie that she had only a “couple of awake eggs” left and that her hormone levels suggested menopause could begin within a couple of years.
One specialist explained: “For Katie, the first sign of aging is coming from her ovaries, and that is a big blow—something many women find difficult to accept.”
As she navigates these health concerns, Katie remains open about her journey, keeping fans updated on her hopes for expanding her family.
