I’m A Celebrity winner Danny Jones and Love Island star Maura Higgins appeared to share a drunken kiss at a BRIT Awards after-party, sparking speculation about their close bond.
The McFly guitarist, 38, who has been married to Georgia Horsley since 2014, and Maura, 34, were seen enjoying each other’s company at Universal Music’s celeb-packed bash. Later in the night, the pair were spotted laughing together at Sony Music’s party, which went on until the early hours of the morning.
An onlooker revealed, “Danny and Maura seemed to be having a great time. They looked like they had a brief drunken kiss. They’ve clearly built a close friendship after meeting in the jungle.”
While the pair sat at separate tables during the BRITs ceremony at London’s O2 Arena, they later reunited at Universal’s after-party at 180 Studios on The Strand.
Danny was seen chatting with his McFly bandmate Tom Fletcher before Maura approached. The pair reportedly spent 90 minutes together, deep in conversation, while fellow celebrities Frank Lampard and Nicole Appleton partied nearby.
A source added, “Danny seemed to be giving Maura advice, and at one point, he put his arm around her shoulder. Maura also laid her head on Danny’s shoulder as they spoke with friends. They later met up with their fellow jungle campmate, Oti Mabuse.”
As the night progressed, footage captured Danny and Maura walking into the foyer together and appearing to kiss just before 3 AM. The two were later photographed grinning as they left alongside Oti.
The night didn’t end there, as the duo arrived at Sony’s exclusive party at the Nobu Hotel in Portman Square an hour later. A source at the event noted, “Danny and Maura were still grinning and joking together. Inside, it looked like it was just the two of them. As the party wound down, many guests had already left, but they were still enjoying each other’s company.”
With fans buzzing about their BRITs encounter, it remains to be seen what’s next for Danny and Maura.
