Molly-Mae Hague has found herself at the center of a shocking leaked messages scandal, after American boxer Chase DeMoor claimed she sent him flirtatious messages during her split from Tommy Fury. However, sources close to the reality star have dismissed the claims as completely fake.
The controversy erupted while Molly-Mae, 25, is enjoying a romantic getaway in Dubai with Tommy, her former fiancé and father of their daughter, Bambi. The pair recently reunited after briefly parting ways, making their public reconciliation official with near-identical vacation photos.
Chase DeMoor, a reality TV star-turned-boxer, made the bold claim after a heated dispute with Tommy’s younger brother, Roman Fury, whom he was supposed to fight in an upcoming Misfits Boxing match. After pulling out of the fight, Chase went on social media, alleging that Molly-Mae had previously messaged him flirtatiously.
To support his claims, Chase posted what he said were screenshots of direct messages (DMs) from Molly-Mae. One message allegedly read:
“Hey beautiful, I’m in the UK. I know we didn’t really get a chance to see each other last time, but I want to make it up to you.”
A supposed response from Molly-Mae read:
“Oh yh? How’s that babe?”
To which Chase allegedly replied:
“I’m thinking let’s get some sushi and see where it leads.”
Fans and Sources Dismiss Claims
Despite DeMoor’s claims, Molly-Mae’s supporters and sources close to her have completely denied the authenticityof the messages, branding them as “fake” and “totally out of character” for the influencer and devoted mother.
Fans took to social media to defend Molly-Mae, with many pointing out that the language in the alleged texts did not match her usual way of speaking. Others speculated that Chase fabricated the messages in an attempt to stir controversy and remain in the spotlight following his withdrawal from the boxing event.
Molly-Mae and Tommy, both 25, have been rebuilding their relationship after facing difficulties earlier this year, including reported tensions over Tommy’s drinking and party lifestyle. The couple, who met on Love Island in 2019, share their one-year-old daughter, Bambi, and have maintained that their family remains their priority.
As speculation around the alleged messages continues, Molly-Mae has not publicly responded to the claims, instead focusing on her holiday with Tommy and their daughter.
