Paramedics treated ten people at the scene. However, nine of those injured required hospital treatment. One person declined further medical care after the crash. Meanwhile, ambulance crews used several emergency units to support the response.
The Metropolitan Police said five people suffered serious injuries. Those injured ranged in age from 14 to 46. Therefore, officers continue to assess the full impact of the collision.
Police arrested the driver of the suspected stolen car. Officers identified her as a woman in her 20s. She faces allegations linked to dangerous driving, vehicle theft, and failing to stop. She remains in hospital while inquiries continue.
Officers also arrested four passengers from the same vehicle. The group included a woman in her 40s, a teenage girl, and two men in their 20s. Investigators suspect they were travelling in a stolen car. They also remain in hospital for treatment.
