Millie Bobby Brown Adoption: Stranger Things Star Welcomes Baby Girl with Jake Bongiovi

Must read

Millie Bobby Brown adoption news has delighted fans after the Stranger Things star revealed she and husband Jake Bongiovi welcomed a baby girl.

The 21-year-old actress shared: “This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to begin this next chapter in peace and privacy.” She added: “And then there were three, love Millie and Jake Bongiovi.”

Jake, 23, also appeared in the post, seen pushing a stroller in a July 20 Instagram clip. The couple married in May 2024 at Villa Cetinale, Tuscany, in a private ceremony. Millie adopted her husband’s last name after their wedding.

Millie and Jake met in 2021 and announced their engagement in April 2023. They now live together in Georgia, balancing family life with busy careers.

Earlier this year, Millie spoke about her desire for motherhood during a SmartLess podcast appearance. She said her mother had her first child at 21, and her father was 19. Millie shared she always imagined becoming a mom, inspired by her own mother and grandmother.

She added that starting a family was important even as she focused on acting and producing. Jake supported her wish but emphasized waiting until marriage. Millie explained that adoption feels equally meaningful to her as having a biological child.

Millie first rose to fame as Eleven in Stranger Things, landing the role at age 10. Her performance earned a Primetime Emmy nomination at 13. She will reprise the role in the show’s final season later this year, reportedly earning around £10 million, up from £8,000 per episode in season one.

The actress also starred in films such as The Electric State, Enola Holmes, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and Damsel. She became the youngest person ever featured on TIME 100.

Jake Bongiovi, son of Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley, pursued modeling at 18 and acting afterward, starring in Rockbottom. He enjoys scuba diving and shares the hobby with Millie.

The couple first appeared publicly on Instagram in mid-2021, confirming their relationship with photos of shared sunsets, selfies, and a London Eye visit.

Millie Bobby Brown adoption now marks the start of a new chapter for the young couple, blending family life with their flourishing careers.
