A murder investigation is underway after a 45-year-old woman was found stabbed to death at a property in Enfield, north London.
Police were called to Ayley Croft following reports of an attack. Despite efforts by paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made, and detectives are urging witnesses particularly drivers with dashcam footage from Ayley Croft between 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM to come forward.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil John said: “Our thoughts are with the victim’s family. There will be an increased police presence as we work to establish what happened.”
The victim’s next of kin has been notified and is receiving support.
