The Celebrity Traitors finale is almost here after eight weeks of drama, challenges, and shocking betrayals.
The five remaining contestants – Alan, Cat, Joe, Nick, and David – will complete one final mission. This mission determines how much money they add to the £100,000 prize pot for charity.
Fans expecting an episode on Wednesday 5 November were disappointed because the show did not air. Instead, the Celebrity Traitors finale airs on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Thursday 6 November at 9pm.
The BBC has not explained the delay. Many viewers suspect the change is because of Guy Fawkes night celebrations or to increase suspense for the finale.
This week’s finale runs longer than usual at 70 minutes. Afterward, BBC Two will air the final spin-off episode, Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked. Host Ed Gamble and Claudia Winkleman will discuss the season with the finalists.
In the final, contestants return to the round table. They vote to banish one player, but the banished person does not immediately reveal whether they are a Traitor or a Faithful.
Next, the four remaining players head to the fire pit. Claudia asks whether they want to end the game if they believe all Traitors are gone. If they are correct, the prize money splits evenly. If a Traitor remains, that person claims the full prize.
Each contestant receives two ceremonial pouches labeled ‘end game’ and ‘banish again’. They throw one into the fire. If even one pouch burns red, the group votes again. Green pouches signal that the game ends.
Voting at the round table takes less time than usual. Contestants write names on slates instead of debating extensively. Each banished player then announces their Traitor or Faithful status before leaving.
The ceremony continues until the group chooses to end the game or only Traitors remain. At the end, all remaining contestants reveal their true roles.
The Celebrity Traitors finale delivers tense decisions, high stakes, and unexpected twists, making it one of the most thrilling endings of the season.
