A fourth man has been arrested in connection with the Fires Linked to PM Keir Starmer across north London, according to the Metropolitan Police. The 48-year-old suspect was detained at Stansted Airport on Monday after being stopped under schedule 7 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
Following his initial questioning, police arrested him on suspicion of conspiracy to commit arson with intent to endanger life. He remains in custody at a London police station as the investigation continues.
The charges stem from three arson incidents that occurred in previous May. These include a car fire on May 8 in Kentish Town, a fire at Starmer’s former residence on May 12, and another fire at a converted flat in Islington on May 11.

Three other men have already been charged in relation to the same incidents. Petro Pochynok, 34, Roman Lavrynovych, 21, and Stanislav Carpiuc, 26, are due in court at the Old Bailey on Friday. All three of themen have links to Ukraine or Eastern Europe.
Moreover, Lavrynovych, from Sydenham, faces three counts of arson with intent to endanger life. Carpiuc, based in Romford, and Pochynok, from north London, face conspiracy charges.
However, The fire at Starmer’s previous home occurred after he had moved into Downing Street. The earlier car fire and the Islington blaze are also under forensic review. Investigators are working to determine any direct links between the suspects and the Prime Minister.
