Meghan Markle May Stay Out of Public Eye for Weeks After UK Return

Must read

Meghan Markle may avoid public appearances for several weeks after returning to the UK with Prince Harry.

The Duchess of Sussex has kept a low profile since the couple moved their family back to Britain. She now focuses on helping their children adjust to their new home and schools. Meghan and Harry are settling into a new chapter of family life in the UK. Their children, Archie and Lilibet, are also adjusting to their new surroundings.

Meghan reportedly wants to give Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, time to settle into their new routine. The children recently started adjusting to their schools and life in Britain. As a result, Meghan may continue to stay away from public events.

The Duchess returned to Britain briefly in July. However, she has not made a public appearance since the family officially moved back. Before that return, Meghan had not visited the UK since Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral four years ago.

Her decision to stay out of the spotlight contrasts with Harry’s plans for the coming weeks.

Prince Harry is preparing for several charity engagements in Britain.

The Duke of Sussex plans to attend the annual WellChild Awards later this month. The event forms part of his continued charity work in the UK. Harry could also take part in a skydive to support military charities.

Reports about the possible jump follow a promise Harry made to 102-year-old veteran Ed Marshall. Harry reportedly made the promise during a visit to Toronto, Canada, last November.

However, the Duke and Duchess do not plan to attend every event together. Harry and Meghan will not attend an upcoming Diana Award gala in London, according to their spokesperson.

Reports claimed the couple could attend a dinner at Raffles London at The OWO on September 18. However, their spokesperson rejected those reports.

The spokesperson told the Mirror that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex do not plan to attend the Diana Award event. The clarification means Harry and Meghan will continue to follow separate schedules in the UK.

For now, Meghan appears focused on family life while Harry prepares for his upcoming charity commitments.
